Bio

Mr. Zhibo Gao is a managing partner of the SBZL Beijing Office. After passing the national examinations for Patent Attorney and Trademarks' Qualification in 2000, he began his career as an IP counsel where he was involved in all kinds of proceedings of patent and trademark prosecution and enforcement.

Before being founding partner of SBZL in 2002, he has worked as a patent and trademark counsel in the biggest IP firm located in Shinhwa IP firm in Fujian and NTD IP firm located in Shenzhen. His areas of technical expertise are Mechanics, Designs, Chemistry, Bio-tech, and Pharmaceuticals.  Mr. Gao has handled countless patent & trademark cases and he is very experienced in trademark prosecution & protection, patent prosecution & invalidation proceedings and patent enforcement.

Before becoming an IP counsel, he practiced 2 years at a Pharmaceutical company as an engineer involving all kinds of the technical works regarding manufacture of chemical materials. He is now a member of China Trademark Association and All China Patent Agent Association.
